The Texas Arabian Breeders Association held its annual award ceremony at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas, on January 23, 2011. The night saw some of Arabian racings most ardent supporters in the state and indeed the country. BURNING SAND runners won in several racing categories.
Todd Moak, BURNING SAND co-owner and breeder, was awarded Top Breeder in 2010, due in large part to his breeding program centered around BURNING SAND.

The Arabian Racing Association of California held its annual award ceremony on February 12, 2011.
EAGLE ONE (x Laura Ku) won Horse of the Year, no doubt due to two big stakes wins in California in 2010.

TM SUPER BIRD, who had a great year alongside sister SANDWITCHH, was also nominated for Horse of the Year and 4-Year-Old Filly of the Year. BURNING FANCY, 2009 nominee for 3-Year-Old Filly of the Year, received a nomination for 4-Year-Old of the Year. The winners are in bold.

BURNING SAND runners won multiple awards at the 2009 Darley Awards and multiple BURNING SAND runners were nominated in five out of eight racing categories, the most dominant showing by any sire.Undefeated SAND WITCHH won HORSE OF THE YEAR (first time this honor has been given to a BURNING SAND runner) and THREE-YEAR-OLD FILLY OF THE YEAR.
QJUICK SAND PW won FOUR-YEAR-OLD COLT OF THE YEAR and SPRINTER OF THE YEAR.
